General Restrictions
- Wildwater Kingdom is a participatory water park with physically demanding activities where you control your own ride experience. Guests should assess their physical capabilities and swimming skills prior to participating. Certified lifeguards supervise all activities at Wildwater Kingdom. Attractions are sometimes closed when it rains and during lightning or high winds.
- Due to the large number of guests in bare feet, Smoking is not permitted inside Wildwater Kingdom.
Clothing/Accessories
- Bathing suits need to be worn in the waterpark and must be appropriate for our family environment.
- No cutoffs, thongs or apparel with metal rivets and zippers (such as jean shorts) are allowed.
- Appropriate water shoes and aqua sox may be worn in pools, but are not permitted on water slides.
- Diaper dependent guests must wear approved swim diapers in all pools and water attractions.
- Life jackets are available at no charge for those who do not have them, otherwise they must be coast guard and management approved.
- Life vests, hats, bathing caps or t-shirts are not permitted on slides. Water wings, and bathing suits with built-in flotation devices are prohibited. Foam water noodles, rafts, beach balls, air mattresses, inner tubes and boogie boards are also prohibited.
- Casts are not permitted on most of the attractions at Wildwater Kingdom. We recommend you wait until the cast is removed before visiting the park.
- No excessive jewelry on the slides. Minimal jewelry such as a wedding ring, watch or neck chain is permitted. Eyeglasses and sunglasses must have a safety strap. Goggles are not permitted.
Other
- For the safety of our guests, lifeguards are not permitted to talk while actively guarding the pools. Please approach the head lifeguard on duty for assistance.
- Wildwater Kingdom offers a bathhouse with showers, electric outlets and lockers for rent. Towels cannot be rented at Wildwater Kingdom. Bathing suits and towels are available for purchase at retail locations within Wildwater Kingdom.
Services for Guests
Alcoholic Beverage Policy
You must be 21 years of age and provide a valid state-issued driver’s license with photo to purchase, possess or consume alcoholic beverages at Wildwater Kingdom. The Ohio Revised Code prohibits bringing beer, wine or intoxicating liquor on Wildwater Kingdom property, including the picnic pavilions, or leaving the park with alcohol purchased here. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in line for any attraction.
Cameras/Electric devices
Cameras, recording devices, and/ or photography equipment are not permitted on attractions, or in any other restricted areas. Large “boom box” radios and other electronic sound or musical devices, with the exception of personal music players, are not permitted in the Park. Videotaping on attractions is strictly prohibited.
Dress Code
Appropriate swimwear must be worn while in Wildwater Kingdom. Appropriate swimwear is genderappropriate attire specially designed for use in a public aquatic environment. We reserve the right to deny admission to anyone we feel is not appropriately dressed.
Guests of Exceptional Size
Due to manufacturer’s recommendations, guests of exceptional size may not be accommodated on some of our attractions. Specific requirements are posted at each attraction.
Line Jumping
Line jumping/line cutting or holding places in line are not permitted. Guests are not permitted to save places in line or exit the line and return for any reason. Guests who violate this policy may be ejected from the park without a refund.
Paging/Park Announcements
Wildwater Kingdom does not have a public address system available for use by separated parties, so please arrange times where members of your group can meet. Guests are welcome to leave messages at Guest Services.
Attractions
Due to maintenance and other circumstances, at certain times some attractions may not be open to the public. Stuffed animals/prizes, cameras, cell phones, pagers, backpacks, food/beverages, etc. are not permitted on attractions. Please leave these items with a non-rider, or in a public locker.
Same Day Re-Entry
To leave the park and return the same day, you must get your hand stamped before you exit the front gate. Re-enter through the Re-admission Gate.
Disabilities
For our guests with disabilities, Wildwater Kingdom provides a Rider Safety Guide available at the Park Entrance or Guest Services to assist in planning your day.
Service Animals
Service animals are welcome at Wildwater Kingdom. All service animals must remain physically controlled on a leash or harness at all times. Guests should use the same attraction entrance procedures as described for Special Access and may take advantage of our Parent Swap Policy for care of the animal. Due to the aggressive nature of some attractions, service animals must remain with a non-riding member of the Guest’s party. Wildwater Kingdom Lifeguards are not permitted to take control of service animals. Limit one service animal per Guest.
Firearms Policy
It is illegal to carry a firearm, deadly weapon or dangerous ordnance anywhere on Wildwater Kingdom property. Unless otherwise authorized by law, no person shall knowingly possess, have under the person’s control, convey or attempt to convey a deadly weapon or dangerous ordnance on Wildwater Kingdom property. Posted pursuant to the Ohio Revised Code.
Smoking
Smoking is prohibited inside Wildwater Kingdom.
Weather Conditions
At Wildwater Kingdom, nothing is more important than your safety. Attractions may shut down due to lightning in the area, strong winds, rain or other weather conditions as decided by Park management. The attractions will re-open just as soon as we can assure a totally safe operation. We are sorry, no refunds or rain checks will be given for any reason once Guests enter the park.
General Information
Automatic Teller Machines
ATM machines are located in the park. Please see map for locations.
Checks/Travelers Checks
Wildwater Kingdom does not offer check-cashing options, however we will cash traveler’s checks and money orders for U.S currency at Guest Services with proper identification.
Currency Exchange
Wildwater Kingdom accepts only U.S. currency, but Canadian currency can be exchanged at Guest Services.
First Aid
A First Aid Station is located next to the Wildwater Kingdom entrance. Paramedics and E.M.T.s are on duty at all times. Over-the-counter medications are available at select gift shops. Please see Guest Services for details.
KidTrack
KidTrack wristbands are available at Guest Services at the Main Gate. Adults write their 10-digit cell phone number on the wristband and fasten it around the child’s right wrist. The reason for the wristband should be explained to children, and they should be instructed to go to the nearest uniformed employee if they become separated from adults. If adults and children become separated, the Wildwater Kingdom employee who finds the separated child will activate the KidTrack system. The cell phone number on the wristband will be called and it will be explained where the child is being safely kept until the parties are reunited. Adults should make sure to leave cell phones on in case location through the KidTrack system becomes necessary.
Lockers
Lockers are available for rent throughout the park and on a first-come, first-served basis. Please refer to your park map for locations.
Public Picnic Facilities
With the exception of special diet/need items (which may be kept in a small cooler), outside food and beverages are not permitted in the park. Picnic baskets and coolers are welcome at the public pavilions outside the main entrance. Wildwater Kingdom is not responsible for items that are lost or stolen. No alcoholic beverages or grilling are permitted in public picnic facilities.
Rental Center
Wheelchair and stroller rentals are available at the Park Entrance. Due to the limited number of wheelchairs and strollers available daily, they are provided on a first-come, first-served basis, and are not able to be reserved. Please check locations for daily rental costs.
Rest Rooms/Drinking Fountains
Rest rooms and drinking fountaints are located throughout the park. Please refer to map symbols for locations.
Telephones
Public telephones are available at Wildwater Kingdom, located just inside the Park Entrance. Change for pay phones is available at Guest Services.
Height Check
For your convenience we provide a height check at Guest Services so our smaller Guests know which attractions are available to them. We reserve the right to ask that shoes be removed to ensure that a child’s height is not being artificially enhanced or manipulated. This is a courtesy service to help you plan your day and does not replace measurements at individual attractions.
